She was born on 21 December, in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra, Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. She works as a pharmacist. She started her blog, I Want to Get Married, in August 2006, in the Saudi Life magazine. Her first book, was also I Want to Get Married, published in February 2009 by Dar Al-Shorouk. In Ramadan 2010, the book was adapted to the series I Want to Get Married, directed by Ramy Imam.
